Overview
Here’s what Scitec have to say:

So its basically a Red Bull shot. All the
Caffeine and Taurine of a full 300ml preworkout drink have been condensed into
a 25ml shot.
As a preworkout this is as about as basic
as it comes but it’ll certainly get you awake and moving.
Taste
Not great to be honest but since it’s a
25ml shot it doesn’t really matter. Its quite thick like bit like syrup. It
doesn’t really have a flavour at least not a discernable one, a little bit like
cough medicine.
Side
Effects
It makes you feel quite warm and tingly,
it’s a nice side effect.
Price
£13.29 for 40 servings you can’t argue with
that.
Results
I love clever ideas and I’ve never seen
anything like this. I tend to train very early and it was great to just wake up
get my shakes out the fridge, slam back a Liquid Shock and get in the car to go
to the gym, I liked not having all that liquid inside me before I train. You
can also take it with you in the car as a “back up” in case you forget your
preworkout, Scitec say to take it 60 minutes before training but I found it
kicked in after about 25 -30 minutes.
Liquid Shock is very basic but that’s good
as long as you can tolerate caffeine then you can use it. There’s no worrying
about reacting to new substances. It's easy to take and has no side effects. Another big plus is that it is dirt cheap! It comes in at 33p per serving!
The down side to
it being so basic is that it is just a
large caffeine boost. You get an almost hyperactive feeling of alertness and a
huge energy rush but it doesn’t help you with pumps, muscle contractions or
mood. I think Liquid Shock is the first step towards a new style of awesome
preworkouts, its good as it is but I think there is a lot of potential with this
style that has yet to be properly utilised. 7/10
