Overview
Here’s what Jst Jodie has to say:
JWHEY
is a time release protein blend for both slow & fast release. JWHEY is rich
in amino acids, low in carbohydrates, fat, lactose and cholesterol. JWHEY is
finished with a digestive enzyme complex.

You get just shy of 24g of protein made up of Whey
Concentrate, Isolate, Casein & Egg Albumen so we have fast and slow proteins
but this isn’t specifically a night time formula although you could use it as
one.
The Carbs are low, the fats are low so this
looks geared more towards dieters.
Taste
I had the Chocolate Peanut Butter and
whilst the flavour was spot on I found it a little bit sickly. The Black Cherry
flavour though is delicious! It mixes perfectly and is really smooth.

Results
This is billed as a protein for any occasion,
that it’s just a standard, daily, must hit my MACROS shake but it’s so close to
being a great bed time shake. The blend of fast and slow proteins is slightly
tipped towards fast digesting but if it was tilted the other way towards slow
digesting then it would be great. It has all the other properties of a good
Bedtime shake, it still can be used at night time but it won’t be as effective
as a dedicated night time casein shake.
Throw a couple of fat burning ingredients
in and it could be a good diet shake too, basically what I’m saying is JWhey is
really good and could be the basis for so many other great, similar products.
JWhey has a good (not perfect) nutrition
breakdown, a great taste but it is quite expensive for what you get. It works
out to £1.32 a serving which for a standard protein shake is fairly pricey. Normally for this kind of price you more of an all-in-one style shake with a fair few extra ingredients thrown in. So
my advice is if you can find it on offer then give it a shot Jodie might
surprise you. 8/10
