It’s interesting to note this little bit at the bottom of Promax Lean
“PLEASE NOTE: Promax Lean contains many proven active
ingredients, but are not weight loss shakes. The protein shakes are a lean
definition support designed to help you get results as part of a balanced
weight loss or definition plan”
So
Promax Lean is not a weight loss shake but does contain weight loss
ingredients. All the weight loss ingredients are indeed proven and very common.
Taste
I had
the banana flavour and it’s really nice, nothing outstanding but very enjoyable
to drink.
Price
A
1.2kg tub with 20 servings in will cost you upwards of £35 if you shop around,
so it’s very pricey.
Side Effects
None
Results
Well
they were right it’s not a weight loss shake. I didn’t notice any visible
weight loss or toning and the scales didn’t budge much either. It is a high
protein (38g’s is pretty good) tasty shake though. It’s a shame that it prices
itself out of the market really, this could be a daily protein source but not
at nearly £2.00 a serving. The ingredient list is solid and the dosage of
weight loss ingredients is very good with the exception of the rather mean
serving of 25mg of Green Tea.
I do
like the disclaimer on the tub though at least Maxinutrition knows what it is.
I’m sure if you used this for long enough you would notice some muscle
definition coming through but at the price they are charging no one is going to
find out. 4/10
