perfect for athletes intent on improving performance and appearance.

agents and EFA’s; L-Carnitine, an amino acid that is essential to the
metabolising of body fat; CLA, used worldwide to support fat-loss and provide
vital support to a restricted-calorie diet; Green Tea Extract, a strong
antioxidant to assist with the thermogenic effect of Diet Whey; Essential Fatty
Acids, for optimum health, vitality and weight-loss.
Taste
I used the Strawberry Delight flavour and it was nice and
thick. It mixed well but it has bits in, they are almost like seeds, its very
strange. It is a nice tasting shake though. It does give you a full feeling
which helps control your cravings.

34g’s of protein
per serving is excellent and its fat loss ingredients are all proven. CLA,
Green Tea and L-Carnitine will help you drop weight but are far from revolutionary.
Flaxseed Powder is included to aid digestion which is a nice touch.
It’s a good
formula but it’s one that 99% of diet shakes have.
Price
Anywhere between
£23 and £35 for a 1kg bag which will give you 20 servings, so if you pay full
price it’s pricey but you can normally find it on special or with a free tub of
something to make it a better deal.
Side Effects
None. 10/10
Results
Meh. That kind of
sums up my opinion of PhD Diet Whey. Its not a bad product but its not a great
one either. Its too expensive for a start and it doesn’t seem to deliver on its
one key area of fat loss. I noticed nothing special whilst working my way through
my tub. It tastes nice, it’s easy to drink and gives a decent protein hit at
34g’s but it just doesn’t deliver on the fat loss front. Shame.
If you are
desperate for a diet shake and are heart set on Diet Whey then it won’t hurt and
you will get a nice tasting shake but don’t expect to see much on the results
front. 5/10
