So its basically a low calorie lunch option. JSoup provides only
13g of Protein which won’t help much with any muscle building or maintenance
but it might be handy for those who strict calorie restrictions.
The Carb content is fairly low but most of them are
Sugars which is bad news for dieters which is strange because that’s who this
products is aimed at.
Taste
I had the Country Vegetable flavour and it didn’t taste “right”
when I tried it cold but heated up it tasted just like any canned soup you could
buy from a shop. It mixed up very well.
Side Effects
None
Price
£19.99 for a tub which has 14 servings in.
Results
This is a strange one. It’s a "healthy" lunch for dieters thats too
high in Sugars for dieters to use. The protein content is fairly low as well so
its not got that going for it either. Speaking of the protein is comprised of
Whey and Soy so it’s not best.
It does
taste pretty good though so I imagine it will find its market. Its not cheap but
it is cheaper than buying 14 cans of soup so I suppose it is reasonably priced. It didn’t have any problems mixing but it did go lumpy once
when it spent slightly too long in the saucepan! You can microwave it as well
if that’s more convenient for you. It is handy that you can mix it up in the
morning and take it to work with you in a shaker and then heat it there.
What it boils down to is its OK but it could be much, much better.
