Xinx Apparel Womens Clothing Review

Overview

First a bit about Xinx as some of you might not have heard of them:

Established in 2012 in the UK and 100% independent, we are gym enthusiasts and train as part of our lifestyle. XINX Apparel is a premium gym wear brand and the quality of our products is of the highest standard.

Our clothing has strong modern, fashionable influences whilst offering the required attention to detail to meet the demands of the most intense training sessions.

As part of our design and manufacturing process, our product measurements are produced to suit athletic and aesthetic physiques complimenting active lifestyles.

We had the pleasure of reviewing 3 items:

Women’s Prime Leggings

·         92% Polyamide Supplex, 8% Elastane - Flexible and lightweight whilst providing superb stretch, durability and wicking properties. Doesnt wrinkle, shrink or fade through vigorous exercise, sun exposure and repeated washing and dryings maintaining shape and vibrant colour.

·         Breathable and Wickable - Offers a soft feel with gentle support, superb fit and maximum freedom of movement whilst being breathable with quick drying wicking capabilities

·         Flatlocked seams - Comfortable, flexible and strong during workouts

Design

Xinx have brought a wonderfully sophisticated look to their products with a thin coloured strip that starts at the base of your leggings/shorts and gradually moves up and spreads across your chest. You can pick between either a blue/grey or black/pink combo for all the pieces. Personally I preferred the light blue but both are very stylish.

Comfort

The clothes are very smooth and silky against the skin, they don’t get sticky or pinch. They allow great freedom of movement and I never found them to be restrictive. The vest tops didn’t cut in my shoulders at all and fits perfectly. The vest tops and leggings were both very breathable and kept me very cool during both cardio and weight training. The shorts made life a bit more enjoyable when the hot weather came and I was able to workout outside without overheating, they are so comfortable you could use them as pyjama shorts!

Fit

The leggings fit exactly as you would expect them to and they bend and stretch with you which makes life a bit easier in the gym. The vest tops are very supportive and fit perfectly, they are flexible so they twist and turn with you rather than wrinkling up like some tops. The shorts are rather short so if you have any issues showing off a bit of flesh then these might pose an issue for you.

Now you might think this is very expensive for gym clothes but these aren’t just standard gym clothes these are top of the range and designed for people whose passion is fitness. If you spend hours each week at the gym then this is completely worth it. If you look at the prices of the top designer brands of fitness clothing then actually these are not only cheaper but in my opinion both look better and are better quality.

Durability

These products have survived our washing machine test! They have been vigorously used and are showing no signs of shrinking, losing their shape, the colours haven’t run and their isn’t a scratch on them. These are obviously very high quality.

Results

Xinx prove that it is possible to look great at the gym without sacrificing functionality. These are top of the line designer clothes for those who have devoted their life to fitness and want to look damn good doing what they love! People happily spend up to £100 on a dress that they wear once and then it will sit in the cupboard for 6 months until the next “event” and they’ll see that as a great purchase. So I don’t think it’s unreasonable to spend a similar amount of money on a set of kick ass gym clothes that you can use 4 or 5 times a week and Xinx have made these so well that they will last a LONG time so. They are very well designed, fantastically made and I have no complaints at all.
