It’s pure protein then! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a protein shake before that is 0g Fat, 0g Sugar and only 1g of Carbs. Now this is a very flexible shake, you can use it at any point on any program at any time of year. If you’re bulking the extra protein will help you hit your MACROs, if you’re cutting then the 0g of Fats and 1g of Carbs is exactly what you want to see (besides your Abs). You also get a respectable 26g of Protein per shake as well.

Now speaking about the protein Monkey Nutrition have gone to great lengths to make this the most pure, clean and biologically available protein on the market. Taste

I used the Vanilla flavour and when mixed with the recommend 300ml of water it was a little thin for my liking but when I dropped the water to about 150ml it was much better. The Vanilla flavour is a little bit weak but it’s not unpleasant by any means.

Price

£17.95 for a pack containing 14 servings, not the cheapest out there but not too bad. You can of course buy a bigger pack which would then be slightly better value per serving.

Results

This is the ultimate Whey Protein on the market. There is no doubt in my mind that this is top of the pile in its category. This is a protein supplement that can be used at any time of the year whether you are cutting or bulking. It will assist you whatever your goal is, it will help you add muscle or loss fat. I love the fact that it has 0g of sugar in and I love the fact that so much care and time has been put into it, it’s been built from the ground up to be the best out there.

Primal26 provides you with 26g of the highest quality protein and it has a decent amino acid profile as well. It does costs slightly more per serving than a standard whey protein but this is so much more than a standard whey product, this is the standard that all future products should compare themselves to and strive to reach.

I’ve been trying to think of a fault in Primal26 and I’ve struggled (the scoop was even on top!) I guess it could be slightly cheaper or hit 30g’s of protein per serving but to be perfectly honest the few negatives that come with the product are outweighed by the myriad of positives.

If you have yet to try Primal26 then make it a priority, move it to the top of your to do list. 9/10
