Overview
Here’s what Scitec have to say:
Our NIGHT RECOVERY
P.M. PAK is a bedtime nutrient and herbal support formula. First, it provides
popular and important amino acids from 4 different groups. BCAA’s are major
constituents of muscle proteins and are essential aminos.
L-Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the human blood for a reason! We also provide the trio of Arginine, Lysine and Ornithine. Arginine is the direct precursor of Nitric Oxide (NO). Finally, we made sure to add L-Tryptophan as well!
A herbal blend of Hop, Lemon Balm and Valerian helps with relaxation and sleep that are important factors in restoration and recovery.
The Zinc, Magnesium and Vitamin B6 complex contributes to the following bene‑cial physiological eects among others: • regulation of hormonal activity and maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood • normal DNA and protein synthesis, red blood cell formation • normal functioning of the nervous system: neurotransmission and muscle contraction including heart muscle • normal function of the immune and nervous systems • reduction of tiredness and fatigue • normal energy-yielding metabolism • normal acid-base metabolism and electrolyte balance • normal protein, carbohydrate and fatty acids metabolism • protection of cells from oxidative stress

Some of you might be familiar with or even
take a ZMA supplement this is a much more advanced version of that. It should
help regulate testosterone levels as well as enhance protein synthesis and
improve sleep quality which should all contribute to recovery from a hard
workout.
Taste
The tablets don’t really have a taste or an
aftertaste. They aren’t massive either so even people who struggle with
swallowing tablets should be fine.

Results
Well this is a difficult one to review. My
quality of sleep definitely improved but whether it increased protein synthesis
or increased my metabolism I'm not entirely sure. What I can tell you for certain
is it improved my recovery time drastically, I could lift heavy weights one day
and the next day my muscles would be practically doms free. I would be able to feel that I’ve
hit the gym but it wouldn’t impact me negatively at all, I could even go back
to the gym and work the same muscle group again!
The only real problem with this is the
price I think it’s probably slightly too expensive, but if you can find it on
offer then absolutely give it a shot. If you particularly struggle getting a
good nights sleep or with sore muscles then it might be a worth while
investment. I’m not looking forward to training without it! I think I might
have forgotten how much pain rest pause squats cause me the next day. 7/10
