The capsules are easy to swallow and don’t smell or leave an unpleasant after taste which is always appreciated.

I love the inclusion of Green Tea in fat burners as it’s one of the most overlooked and most effective ones out there. Yohimbe is a great addition as well to really get that blood flowing and fat melting. All in all it’s a fantastic breakdown and I like that they give you a full breakdown, a lot of companies hide behind “blends” to avoid telling you exactly how much of any given ingredient is there. Well done MuscleTech.

Side Effects

I got a little shaky when I took the capsules first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Nothing uncontrollable or enough to make me stop taking them though. Headache’s weren’t uncommon either, you will want to avoid excessive coffee consumption whilst taking these as Hydroxycut is already packing a powerful caffeine punch.

Price

Well this varies so much from site to site, its anywhere between £20 - £35 if you can get it at the lower end of that spectrum then its quite good value for money considering the sky high cost of fat burners at the moment. I can feel you reaching for your wallets and throwing you money at MuscleTech already but hold one second because its time for the….

Results

Yes with fat burners it’s all about results. Forget all the fancy ingredients and sales talk does it work! Well not to be cryptic but yes and no. It is fantastic at flushing out any excess water and relieving any bloat, especially if you suffer from Creatine bloat. As a fat burner it’s not so great I’m afraid and I have no idea why not either, with its profile it should be great, hell it should be the best but it just doesn’t seem to work. Over the course of a 1 month course along with dedicated diet and strict exercise plan I only managed to lose 4lb of fat, no more than I would expect to loss on a cut with no fat burner. However I did lose 6lb of water weight. Remember at the beginning of the review they mentioned it was a weight loss product? That’s what it is. Weight loss. Not fat loss. They are different, don’t get me wrong if you drop 6lb of water from your body then you will look drastically different but it won’t be fat and that’s what I was looking for.

So the bottom line is if you’re looking to drop some weight off the scales or lose some water (pre-contest maybe?) then Hydroxycut is awesome but if it’s that stubborn fat you’re looking to burn then I’m afraid you need to look elsewhere. 4/10

Price

You can normally pick up a tub of NO Xplode 2.0 EU for anywhere between £30 - £35 which is by no means cheap. You do get roughly 50 Servings though per tub which works out to about 60p – 70p per serving which sounds much better.

Side Effects

Are you caffeine sensitive? God I hope not because you will never sleep again! It’s very strong, I don’t normally use to recommended doses but you really have to with this preworkout. It also messed up my stomach the first few times I used it, that soon stopped though after I got used it. If you take it on an empty stomach it may make you light headed.

Results

The pumps you get from BSN’s NO Xplode 2.0 EU are badass, it’s simply an unbelievable, skin tearing, can’t flex your bicep properly pump. It’s quite possibly the best pump product I’ve used. As an energy supplement though it really lacks, I didn’t feel particularly motivated or driven like you are supposed to. In fact the pump I had made it difficult to finish my workout as I could perform curls with proper form (I was working biceps as I wanted to test the pump). Amazingly though despite not feeling hyped or energized I still managed to have a huge crash after a few hours.

So as a pump product I’d give it 10/10 but as an overall preworkout that’s supposed to give energy and a pump it really fails to deliver on the energy front so it gets an average 6/10

You can pick this up for anywhere between £25 - £30 and that’s about on par with most other T Boosters.

Results

I should point out that as far as I’m aware I don’t suffer from low Test production, I’m healthy and in my mid 20s. Bullk is a hell of a product, now I did stack it with Tauro Test as suggested by Anabolic Designs but here are my results over the course of a 1 month cycle, Squat had gone up by 25kgs, my Bench by 15kgs and my Deadlift by a massive 32.5kgs. So I can without a doubt say that this works wonders for increasing strength. However for this product is billed as rapidly increase mass and did not deliver on that front at all I noticed very little mass gain.

So bottom line is to gain a lot of strength fast this stacked with Tauro Test is unbeatable but for mass you can do better.

Additionally if you can only afford one T Booster (they aren’t cheap!) then I would go with the phenomenal Tauro Test over this. 6/10

Overview

Tauro Test delivers a unique synergistic blend of ingredients designed to just raise testosterone levels via what they call Testobullism; a blend of five potent compounds that provide a prolonged surge in testosterone. 6 Caps a day is quite a lot, and it’s a pain to remember to take the lunch time serving I wish that they could have reduced this but the caps themselves are easy to swallow so with a bit of planning its not too bad. Also it’s worth noting that they don’t smell at all like some T-Booster products, they are nearly odorless and don’t have a bad after taste which is a major plus.

You can normally pick up Tauro Test for about £30 a bottle which is comparable with most T Booster if actually a little cheaper than some. So not dirt cheap but it won’t break your bank either.

Results

Now with a product like this all that really matters is the results you get and how quickly you get them and damn does Tauro Test deliver. It’s irritating to take 6 caps a day but you won’t care a bit because by the end of the first week you are feeling like you can rip the dumbbells in half! Your muscles will feel fuller and you will drop a little body fat. By the end of my 1 month cycle my Squat had gone up by 25kgs, my Bench by 15kgs and my Deadlift by a massive 32.5kgs. Although my muscles felt permanently pumped I didn’t gain that much more muscle mass but the strength came in spades. I want to run Tauro Test again and quite frankly I’m ordering another bottle now. If I didn’t have to take 6 caps a day then this would score a perfect 10 but it is hindered by that little niggle but if you want an edge in the gym and don’t mind swallowing a few caps here and there then get this! 9/10

Taste

I used the Sweet Strawberry flavour for this review and it tasted amazing, I would have preferred it a little thicker though, even when you reduce the water level it is still quite thin. Very few protein shakes leave you wanting another. I’ve had countless shakes where you hold your nose and just down it but I found myself enjoying this one. It mixes perfectly in a normal shaker, it didn’t require a blender at all. 8/10

I would have thought this “diet” shake would have been higher in protein and lower in carbs and sugar. I do hate sugar in my shakes though so I am a bit biased. The Advanced Lean Support Matrix is a nice touch, I like the addition of Green Tea and CLA never been a believer in Raspberry Ketones but they certainly won’t hurt your progress. Also its worth noting that The Bodybuilding Warehouse only use the best ingredients so you know you’ll be getting the best.

As a diet or possibly meal replacement shake this is certainly a decent choice but I would like to see that sugar content disappear. 6/10

Price

£19.99 for a 1kg bag that has 33 very high quality servings in.  What more needs to be said 10/10

Results

I used the product whilst on a cut, I had 2 shakes daily, one at breakfast and one in the afternoon (when I like to snack) whilst it didn’t eliminate my hunger cravings completely it certainly did a fantastic job of keeping my diet in check. I didn’t notice a great deal of extra weight loss during the month I just loss what I expected to. It’s a great shake but don’t expect miracles. 7/10

Bottom Line

It is a solid product from Bodybuilding Warehouse as per usual but I’m not entirely sold on the benefits of a specialised diet shake over a normal whey supplement and a couple of green tea and CLA tablets. However if you want an All-In-One diet product then this a decent tasty choice. 7/10
