Multipower Fit Protein Review

Fit Protein

Overview
Here’s what Multipower have to say:

Voted best protein drink in 2012!

Fit Protein contains 53g protein and 50g carbohydrates. Ideal for muscle building and recovery. With a fat content of only 1g per bottle, it supplies your body after your workout with essential muscle building proteins and vital nutrients. Fast available carbohydrates enable rapid glycogen and thus regeneration.

So it has very high protein content and fast acting carbs which are mostly made up of simple sugars. This will replenish your muscles when used post workout and aid in both muscle recovery and growth.

The very low fat content is always welcome.

Taste
I tired several of all 4 flavours (vanilla, banana, strawberry and chocolate) and I wasn’t overly fond of the chocolate flavour, it wasn’t unpleasant but not to my personal taste, the other 3 were fantastic. You have to give the bottle a shake before you drink it but the consistency is nice, smooth and no lumps or gritty bits.

Results
I like Ready To Drink products, some people are a bit against them but I think they serve a purpose, convenience. There is no remembering to mix up a shake, no digging around the tub for the damn scoop, no washing up the shaker. RTD’s have a lot going for them. Fit protein is a great product, it’s high in protein and full of muscle repairing good sugars. The taste is fine and its not too frothy or sweet. It is amazing to drink post workout and you can immediately notice the recovery properties after your first serving.

The only drawback with this product is the price. It works out to just over £3.25 a bottle which is very expensive. With a lot of protein powders a serving works out to under £0.80. So really it comes down to what price do you put on convenience?

Fit Protein is excellent and I think they would be great to keep a couple of bottles in the house for when you are running late but definitely get a tub of protein as your primary source. 8/10
