Unfortunately we aren’t given an exact breakdown of what amounts of each ingredient is included. All the usual pre-workout suspects are in there though creatine, l-arginine, beta-alainine, caffeine (duh) and maltodextrin.

So there is not a lot new in there but if it works then there doesn’t need to be.

Taste

I had the Power Pear flavour and it was great, much better than most preworkouts out there. It tasted a bit like pear drops that had been melted down.

I wish I had the Arousing Apple flavour I could have made some great "increased blood flow" jokes. Oh well. Next time.

Results

Honestly who doesn’t love a good preworkout? I’ll hold me hand up and say that I love them and I love Pow3rd! It has everything you need from a great one. You get a good energy rush about 20 minutes after you’ve taken it and it last for about 50 minutes. The pump isn’t sleeve tearing but it is solid, you seem to get a pump no matter whether you train in the low rep or high rep scheme, there is no escaping the pump. Best of all though there is no energy crash after it wears off it just nicely calms down. I did try a double serving (who doesn’t every now and then?) and to be honest it didn’t completely blow me away but it did the job I needed it to.

The value is outstanding giving you 50 servings for less than £20. The thing that seals the deal though is the taste, preworkouts don’t generally taste brilliant but this one bucks the trend and taste great. Everyone that tried it agreed as well which is very rare round here.

I can’t really think of a down side to Pow3rd. It’s an all round awesome preworkout. 9/10
