Pulsin Hemp Protein Review

Overview
Hemp Protein Powder 250g
Here’s what Pulsin have to say:

Pulsin's raw hemp powder is one of the most complete and nutritious protein sources on the planet. Hemp is a wonder plant, containing all eight of the essential amino acids the body needs to stay healthy, as well as generous amounts of Omega 3 & 6 and plant fibre.

As a complete protein, hemp powder is ideal for vegetarians and vegans, athletes, people recovering from illness or looking to balance their blood sugar. Protein helps the body stay strong and fight off infection. It can also help as part of a weight-loss diet, as it helps to stave off hunger pangs.

Hemp is one of the most sustainable, earth-friendly crops around. Ours is Non-GM and is grown without the use of herbicides or pesticides.

Let’s get this out of the way its not a protein shake it’s a protein powder used to enrich other food. For what it is it has a fairly good nutritional profile, I used this mostly with porridge.

Taste
It gave everything a nutty flavour and it turns your porridge a greeny colour.

Results
Not an awful lot to say really, it does exactly what you’d expect, it’s a great way of adding an extra few grams of protein into your diet if you are struggling with your MACROs. This would be especially handy whilst bulking and you need the extra protein and calories.

The green colour it turns your breakfast can be a little off putting but it actually tastes very nice, I find porridge very bland usually and I don’t tend to add honey, jam or anything to it to improve it so I actually liked the extra taste booster in the morning.

I’m not sure that Hemp is a better protein source than Whey, Beef, Soy, Rice etc but there are a lot of reports stating that Hemp is the future, I’m not sold on that but it certainly won’t hurt you. Great option for any Vegans out there. 7/10
