26g of protein is more than ample for a night time shake. I thought that more Casein would have been included but other slow digesting proteins have been included in Casein's place. That fat content is about right for this kind of product but the carbs/sugar content is quite a bit higher than I would have expected but that should help the muscle recovery overnight so its not a bad thing.

Taste

I had the Choc Orange flavour and it not too dissimilar to a Terry’s Chocolate Orange that’s been thrown in a blender. Its very sweet with a very distinct taste and that’s not a bad thing, it sets it apart from a lot of other Casein products on the market. It mixes fairly well in a standard shaker and doesn’t leave an aftertaste.

Results

A good Casein shake should help recovery and growth. This shake without a doubt helped improved recovery, you tend to notice this more when you stop using it and realise just how much it was helping you. 26g of protein is plenty for a bedtime shake, the combination the fast and slow digesting protein will help drip feed your muscles overnight. It’s show quality when you wake up and you aren’t  that hungry, the Casein shake was doing it’s job well.

The flavour probably won’t be to everyone’s taste but I liked it fine, the price is more or less on point with comparable brands and I suffered no side effects at all. I have no problem recommending this product. 8/10
